PTE Academic Exam Fee
The standard PTE Academic test fee is $200 USD (or equivalent in local currency). This includes:
- The full computer-based test (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening)
- Score reporting to unlimited institutions (no extra charge)
- Access to your scores online for 2 years

Retake Fee
If you need to retake the PTE Academic, you pay the full test fee again — there is no discounted retake. However, you can book a new test as soon as you receive your previous scores (typically within 48 hours).
Important: There is no limit on the number of retakes. You can take the test as many times as you need.
Re-evaluation (Score Review) Fee
If you believe your scores are incorrect, you can request a re-evaluation (also called a score review). The fee is $60 USD per section (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening). You can request review for one or more sections.
- If your scores change after review, the fee is refunded.
- If scores remain the same, the fee is not refunded.
- Re-evaluation requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your scores.

PTE Academic accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards (with Visa/Mastercard logo)

Refund Policy
You can cancel or reschedule your PTE Academic test, but refunds are not automatic. Here’s the breakdown:
- Cancel more than 14 days before test: Full refund minus a $20 USD administration fee.
- Cancel between 7 and 14 days before test: 50% refund.
- Cancel less than 7 days before test: No refund.
- Reschedule: Free if done more than 14 days before test; $30 USD fee if done 7–14 days before; not allowed within 7 days.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days.

Rescheduling Fee
If you need to change your test date or time:
- More than 14 days before: Free
- 7–14 days before: $30 USD fee
- Less than 7 days before: Not allowed — you must cancel (with no refund) and rebook.
Additional Costs to Consider
- Test center change fee: $30 USD if you change your test center (same rules as rescheduling).
- Late booking fee: None — but seats fill up, so book early.
- Score report by mail: Free online; physical copies may incur a courier fee (check with your institution).
