- Set two alarms โ one on your phone, one on a backup device.

The Morning of the Exam: Routine That Works
1. Wake Up Early
Wake up 2.5 hours before your exam time. This gives you time to wake up fully, eat, and travel without rush.
2. Eat a Balanced Breakfast
- Protein and complex carbs: eggs, oats, whole-grain toast, yogurt.
- Avoid heavy, greasy, or sugary foods โ they cause energy crashes.
- Caffeine in moderation โ one cup of coffee or tea if you're used to it. Don't experiment.
3. Light Warm-Up (15 Minutes)
Don't take a full mock test. Instead, do a quick mental warm-up:
- Read one short article aloud (to activate your speaking muscles).
- Write 3โ4 sentences summarizing it (to get your typing fingers moving).
- Listen to a 2-minute English news clip (to tune your ear).
4. Travel with Buffer
Leave early. Factor in traffic, security lines, and finding the room. Arriving flustered hurts your focus.
