What TOPIK level do I need for the GKS scholarship?
Most GKS programmes accept TOPIK Level 3 as the language minimum. However, competitive applicants typically present Level 4 or 5 — GKS specifically offers a stipend uplift for Level 5+ holders, and adcom reviewers visibly weight higher TOPIK levels in the final selection round.
Can I apply to GKS without any Korean?
Technically yes — many GKS Master's and PhD English-medium programmes have no hard TOPIK requirement at application time.
