What Is Hanja?
Hanja (한자) are the Chinese characters historically used in Korean writing before Hangul was created in the 15th century. While modern Korean is written almost entirely in Hangul, approximately 70% of Korean vocabulary is derived from Sino-Korean (한자어) roots — words that originated from Chinese characters. Does TOPIK Test Hanja?
