What Is the SIELE Exam?
The SIELE (International Spanish Language Assessment Service) is a globally recognised Spanish language certificate developed jointly by UNAM, Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad de Buenos Aires, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Unlike the DELE exam, SIELE tests all four skills — reading, listening, writing, and speaking — in a digital format and provides a scaled score rather than a pass/fail result.
The Four SIELE Modules Explained

Each module is scored on a scale of 0 to 250, giving a total SIELE Global score of 0 to 1000. Scores are linked to CEFR levels, ranging from A1 to C1. Unlike DELE, SIELE does not offer a C2 level. The certificate is valid for five years, which makes it useful for academic admissions and professional purposes.
