The Norskprøven exam format tests four skills and reports each as a CEFR level rather than a single pass mark. Understanding this is the first step to reaching the level you need.
The four parts
- Leseforståelse – reading (adaptive).
- Lytteforståelse – listening (adaptive).
- Skriftlig framstilling – writing.
- Muntlig kommunikasjon – speaking.
How results are reported
Because reading and listening are adaptive, the questions adjust to your ability, and your result is placed on the CEFR scale for each skill. Writing and speaking are graded against clear criteria and also mapped to a level.
Why this matters
Since the required level can differ by skill and by purpose, it pays to know your per-skill level before you book. Our Norskprøven mock tests give you exactly that. Browse plans to practise full papers.
